The Tulsa Garden Belle is Hiring for a Garden Maintenance Lead. This is a full-time/seasonal job. February through mid-December.

Description:

• Assistant worker on garden maintenance projects

• Maintenance can include: weeding, prunning, fertilizing, dead-heading, watering, plant identification and health diagnosing, hedging, and mulching

• Expected to maintain and to be knowledgeable of 10-15 client yards throughout the season.

• Must be ready to work directly with clients to answer questions and problem-solve on-site.

• The working season is February through mid-December

• Pay rate: $18-$22/hr based on experience

• 25-30 hrs/week on average

• Must have a flexible schedule due to weather

• Seasoned gardener preferred.

We are looking for an independently motivated worker who will work outside year-round with the following experience:

• Previous knowledge of plants (identification and growing patterns) from experience or degree

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to lift 50 lbs multiple times a day (mulch bags)

• Solid communication skills with a focus in customer service

• Ability to work outside and often solo on-site

• Previous knowledge of general garden maintenance and weeding

• Must have a positive attitude and flexible personality

• Must be 18+ years of age
