Garden Maintenance Assistant

Join Tulsa Garden Belle in bringing beauty and care to Tulsa’s gardens. As our Garden Maintenance Lead, you will oversee and maintain 10-15 client gardens, ensuring each space thrives through the season. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys interacting with clients, and can manage projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform garden maintenance, including weeding, pruning, fertilizing, deadheading, watering, hedging, mulching, and plant health assessment

• Identify plants and diagnose health issues

• Manage day-to-day upkeep for assigned client gardens

• Communicate with clients, answer questions, and problem-solve on-site

• Work both independently and alongside team members as needed
  
  

Schedule & Pay

• Seasonal position: February - December

• 20-25 hours/week, $18-$20/hr (based on experience)

• Flexible schedule required due to weather changes
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced gardener (hands-on experience or horticulture education preferred)

• Solid plant identification skills and understanding of growing patterns

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly (mulch, soil, tools)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Comfortable working outdoors year-round, often independently

• Positive, adaptable, and self-motivated attitude

• 18 years of age or older
